Ye White Hart, Barnes

This place is in a great location right on the river with seating outside on the terrace or down on the riverbank itself,ideal for those lazy sunny afternoons. It has also been revamped this year in both the bar area and the function room upstairs which is a vast improvement on the previous sticky carpeted incarnation.
The only thing wrong with the place are the staff who would rather have a chat or rearrange the glasses than serve you. I don't think I caught them on a bad day either as I have been in a number of times recently as it is the nearest pub to my house and they are consistently slow. That said if you don't mind growing a beard while you wait to get served it is a good pub which could be great with a more dynamic team behind the bar.
