The Charcoal Burner, New Eltham

Went to the Charcoal Burner this week, surprised its now under new ownership. Had a nice pint of 1664 and the staff were smart and friendly, what a difference it has made !!
The atmosphere is great now, met the new owner Stan, seems a real people person ! Definitely worth a visit !!

The Castle, East Dulwich

Spent a day out around Dulwich today with the family, and popped in this pub , only to find it was being refurbished ... must say looking good inside, the builders told me that it would be re opening on the 10th July, invited to the opening with the family, so will be coming back to Dulwich to see the finished article.
