A very nice country location plenty of space in and around the pub great for that warm evening pint sat outside. The food leaves a lot to be desired.Ordered a 8oz Sirloin Steak cooked medium, waitress arrived in a flourish after a wait of 35 mins with an Angus Burger! Then had to wait and offered to warm my partners meal while mine was being prepared, declined the offer, sat and watched her attempt to eat wilted salad, over cooked cheese on an over cooked burger, re heated oven chips and some peculiar sauces. 20mins later my piece of meat arrived! A wedge! cindered at the thin end,and almost blue at the other, oven chips dry and powdery, a mushroom soggy and wet, a whole tomato warm but not cooked Oh and an onion ring out of the freezer bag. 13.95. This is the second meal in the last month and the last!! The first meal was disgusting and I had a full reimbursement, this time they took my money even after a complaint to the bar staff, and no apology was obviously not on his agenda so we left. A disappointing evening for both of us.
