The Talbot Arms, Uplyme

I went to this pub with my boyfriend not so long ago but experienced the most horrendous treatment. We were having a drink by the bar and while we were engaged in a private conversations my boyfriend happen to use the F word (this was in conversation only said to me not anyone else in the pub). The landlord looked at us like we just spoke of killing someone and ordered not to use such language in his pub. Eventually he told us to leave as he said the other half of the pub didn�t want us there.....there were maybe 6 people in total on the other side of the wall who were just minding their own business.
I came to the conclusion that the only reason this landlord told us to leave was because my boyfriend didn�t fit in as he is not a middle class white man. He even set the dogs on us although they were indeed the friendliest creatures we encountered in the place.
In fairness, the facilities were average but for the simple fact that the people who run this place obviously have no personal skills and are clearly prejudice against people of a different skin colour, I would score this a 0 out of 5 and recommend you go somewhere else. We would definitely not go back ever again.
