The Gold Coast Bar and Restaurant, South Norwood
The Spread Eagle was in my family from before the second world war to about 1962.
It was a working mans pub with an off licence on the left hand side and on the Cobden Road side was an outdoor "Gents"
Long time since I have been back there. Can anyone tell me if the horse mounting block is still there?
