More of a restuarant than a pub. It's very much focussed on the food side (which is your usual chain pub stuff and fairly poor)

Staff are pretty disinterested youngsters that are more interested in catching up / or arguing with each other than serving customers

The Spyglass and Kettle, Gillingham

We eat here on a regular basis and the food is always first class (it's probably one of only pubs in the area where if you order a rare or medium rare steak, you will get it as ordered) but be warned that sometimes, due to staff sickness, food is withdrawn, not often, but sometimes.

They have closed off one side of the pub recently which has withdrawn the pool table and the dart board from customer use which is a shame. I used to stop by the pub for a few drinks after work for a few pints and a few games of pool...

They have also withdrawn the Sky TV which can be either good or bad depending on your view. In my view it's bad as often you go to the pub and theres only one or two punters in there.
