The Westbridge Public House & Dining Rooms, Battersea

A quick summary of all the rant below, don�t go during the evening go during the day. I go to this pub quite often but now im staring to think about going across the road to the S-Bar.

One point for the food, big and tasty go for the steak. One point against for the special of the day, very small and over priced. One point for the atmosphere not too arty farty just a nice good pub feel. One point against for the service at the bar, there is only one till so they are asking for trouble at busy times. Another point off for the service at the bar, because they really have to train their staff to be more polite to the customers some not all don�t smile or say thank you its just here's your pathetic change get out of my face next customer (no please at the end!) One staff member in particular offers the rudest service he's the one running around trying to serve ten people at the same time, whilst trying to chat up the anything that moves and makes the other bar staff visibly frustrated because of all the mess and wrong orders he makes. (I assume he is the manager because he is still there) One point off for the �10 minimum on cards, in this day and age why? It feels like ive gone back in time five years where there was at least a reason for the banking limits. One point for the beer, lovely wheat beers and a good all round selection. One point off for lack of sport on TV they are obviously keeping costs down by only showing sky sports news. Another point off for only having one TV.
Finaly one point on because they don�t play loud music adding to that nice pub feel. So that makes it 6 points against and four points for therefore only a rating of 4 for me. Its hit and miss with this place,
