The Briton's Protection Hotel, Castlefield

Recently been in the Britons protection not been in for a while seems like there has been some improvements but kept everything original in this old fashioned pub. Large beer garden at rear is very clean and has been painted including the whiskey flavour map on the wall as this pub is big for whiskeys. I had lunch here as i realised that they had a new food menu, the menu had a wide variety of choice and was reasonably priced. The food was nicely presented and tasted good just what i wanted for at lunch time. Ale was excellent and will be returning soon.
