Wants to try a little less hard to be something it's not.

Having said that, it's usually busy, so if there are people willing to pay for it, you can't blame the owners for continuing!!

Not seen any live music yet, have no idea where they'd go as it's not huge.

I'm just bitter because I still can't get used to London prices after 18months. (�6 for 175ml of wine?)

The Swan, Hampton Wick

Not bad pub, nowhere near great either.

Good to watch footy in, that's about it.

As mentioned below, don't order food. Very basic pub food, have eaten three times there, twice the chef/waiter couldn't get the order right. "steak sandwich" is brown rubber between 2 slices of no frills white sliced cotton wool. If you ask for "no dairy" it may come with cheese AND mayo.

You have been warned.
