The Ranelagh, Bounds Green

The staff work really hard and are under huge pressure - on a busy Friday there were only two bar staff on. Standards are not good- the outside could be fantastic but no-one cleans it - there are full ashtrays from either lunchtime or the night before, old paper napkins blowing about. Food tonight was really poor - everything was burnt, sometimes though it can be fine. Good selection of wine and good buzzy atmosphere, could be a fantastic pub but seems to be run on a limited budget and it shows!
