The Castle Green Inn, Taunton

My daughter reluctantly dragged me in here for lunch, I'm now glad she did. It's changed hands and the landlord is very knowledgable on real ale. I tried a Dorset best and a dark star pale, both of which were in perfect condition. The beer descriptions and the jars on the bar are a great idea to see the colours of each ale. My only gripe is that there was a small wait on the food as it was very busy, but we were told this when we ordered. it was worth the wait however, try the three times cooked chips I've not had better.
