The Rose and Crown, Sandridge

Oh my goodness, don't really know where to start with this one. I am one of the regulars here and have lived in this village for over 15 years so believe me I have seen this once highly successful pub change hands many times but this latest lot beggar belief. Alot of the regulars are now giving it a wide berth. why? you may ask, well it now seems you have to have missing teeth or tatoos all over your neck and face to work here and believe me this is not what I want serving me food. some of them can barely speak and you should clock the look of horror on people's faces when they come into this country pub and discover something of a pikey hangout. The people they are letting in are types who are barred everywhere else and I for one won't be setting foot in here again.
Strangely the pub is tidier but stinks to high heaven, can only assume this is due to the dogs running about. The last manager was pretty useless and couldn't run a bath let alone a pub but at least it had a nice client�le and attractive staff, not so now. I could only really recommend if frozen food is your thing and a less than savoury ambience. I give it 6 months max.

Thankyou for the lovely comments and the constructive ones too, i was the chef here at the rose and crown until the change of hands in the lease, so was no longer needed in this pub it changed hands on the 11th april but i must admit the rissotto is fantastic lol thankyou so i'll keep you updated as to where i'll be working so you can come and have more,cheers guys jimmy
