The Partridge Inn, Singleton

Pretty pub, mediocre choice of drinks, poor food. Steak, mushroom & ale pie had 3 pieces of meat and should have been called mushroom pie - came in a dish with a puff pastry lid, something I haven't seen since the 80s. My partners scallops were very overcooked as were the vegetables. Chips were good but overall very disappointed - pub food has advanced so much & I felt this place was in a time warp. We were very hungry so ate & left - probably should've sent meal back. Will not return.

The Sportsman, Amberley

This is a small, quiet pub & offers no childrens facilities with a view to encouraging adults. There are many family friendly establishments around - lets have just a few for adults too.
