The Greys, Brighton

Very reliable no frills pub. The beer is always spot on - a decent selection of high quality ales and Belgian beers, good staff and friendly owners. Very high food standards too from a smallish menu. A genuinely pleasurable environment if you like your pubs on the mellow side. Best in Hanover I'd say.

The Pub With No Name, Brighton

Had Sunday lunch today. It's better than most and nearly the best in Hanover but that's where the positives end. There are always 2 bar staff on duty for this shift and they only employ the most laid back individuals with low standards and little sense of urgency or customer satisfaction. It's a shame as the food is always as good as the service is poor.
