The Ostrich Hotel, Robertsbridge
A definite "locals" pub. Lots of 'different' people, who sometimes make the Rovers Return (in Coronation Street) look realistic! Who needs the TV, or other entertainment media, when the 2 hours from 21.00 to 23.00 can be so interesting. Quirky maybe, but certainly different, and definitely not boring.
Furthermore, the Harveys is usually excellent.
The landlord Tony is a superb host, full of chat and always welcoming. He is also a very charitable person, especially on Grand Prix days, when food is provided free of charge!!
