The Wheatsheaf Inn, Exning

There appears to be some kind of problem with the locals in this village after reading some of the comments posted, well I would like to post mine. My girlfriend and I have recently moved into the village and have tried all the pubs, and this one definately comes out on top, the landlord and lady, could not be more welcoming, the staff are friendly, the pub clean and there is always some kind of snack on the bar to nibble at - and its free!! We had not eaten there until last night - we took some friends- it was my birthday, the food was fantastic (they have a full
time chef)great choice and more than enough to fill us up but what really topped the evening was when the landlord came and gave me a bottle of pink champagne on the house to celebrate my birthday.
