The Churchill Arms, Kensington

Hi - It's Jaydeebliss again. I'm afraid I take back the raves reviews about Churchills Arms In Kensington. Today I went there and was so shocked when myself and my colleague were told to wait before we could have a table just because another friend was due to arrive.

Despite the fact that we were ready to make an order, we were told we could only have a seat if we ordered for our friend. Their reason was "because it's busy on a Fridays and we need the table". Despite our protests and the fact that there were many tables available, they insisted so we left and went to Clarkes across the road. It seems that with their success comes arrogance. I won't be going there again, that's for sure.

The Churchill Arms, Kensington

I have registered just to make a comment about this pub. It's terrific, great atmosphere, the decor is amazing and the food is great. It has an amazing restaurant that overhangs with greenery, like the Rainforest Cafe in Picadilly. I work in Kensington, and I and my work colleagues go there very often. The Thai food is very tastey and CHEAP!! Oh and it has an open fire place! Overall, top marks.
