The Star, Malden Rushett

The Star has undergone stylish referbishment and it's absolutely lovely. Cosy open fire, wooden floors, leather arm chairs and sofas, daily papers and real coffee on offer. The staff are nice and friendly. The food is great with plenty of vegetarian options and a varied menu. Dogs are welcome (not in the resturaunt, obvoiusly) but they are offered their own drinking bowl of water.
In fact the pub is so improved I'm loathed to tell everyone about it incase I can't get a space.
