The Running Pump, Catforth

I like to think of this pub as a little hidden gem. The staff are always friendly, the beer is always good and the food is excellent. Now if every pub was like this it would be heaven.

The Ancient Oak, Cottam

This is the worst pub food I've ever come across in a pub. The toilets are disgustingly filthy (if open) and the entire pub has a feel of past its sell by date. The service is poor and the whole experience is generally grim. Oh I forgot to mention the beer - don't bother!
