Tavern, Welwyn

Visited this pub one Sunday evening, having some time to spare before my bus left. The interior was comfortable and homely, there was a pleasant atmosphere, the barmaid, other customers and the pub dog were very welcoming and friendly. The real ale proved to be good and reasonably priced, but the prospect of an hour and a quarter on a bus ruled out a second pint, so I opted for a glass of white wine instead, (not bad quality and only slightly dearer than the ale).
