The Parrot Inn, Forest Green

I went to this pub for Sunday lunch today with my wife & two friends. We were served promptly, ordered food which arrived within the sort of time that properly cooked food takes (not three minutes for 'ping' food. The service was fine and the staff did a great job. The shop was brilliant and we took some purchases away with us! Some of the reviews on here seem to have been written when the family were going throught great stress and a bit of sensitivity would have been nice. This is a great pub and yes, it is a bit pricey, but good food costs. We'll be back, our friends will be back and we hope the scuzzy northerners won't!
