The Royal Oak, Wootton Rivers

wow what can i say.... i love this pub! I stayed in the royal oak after a long canal cycle with a friend, and i have to stay the comfortable B+B was a very welcome sight. we were shown to our rooms after we were offered the use of their barn to lock our bikes away (this, im sure wasn't needed as its such a quiet location) but it was nice and we took up the offer.
The rooms were warm, comfortable and clean, what more do you need?!
We cleaned up and went to dinner, wow what a selection and the food was freshly cooked and apparently locally brought, the staff were friendly and very helpful. We even ventured into the 'bar area' after dinner and got chatting to the joyful locals!
After a good nights sleep the english breakfast certainly set us up for another long days cycling. Although we were almost sad to leave!
