The Barley Mow, Tandridge

Found this little gem by chance. I was driving along M25 needed lunch just turned off and found a sign and followed it. Walked in and was met with a very friendly welcome and a great smile. Had a pint of tangle foot and wow it was spot on. A sure sign that the cellar is controlled by people who know about real ale. Had a 3 course lunch and each course was delightful, tiger prawns as a starter followed by a roast lamb main and a sticky toffee pudding to finish off.
Inside the surroundings were pleasant and inviting and all and sundry were made to feel most welcome, including a party of walkers. I intend to revisit in the evening to check out some of their live music and I also intend to stay to visit some of the fine buildings in the area.
