The Boileroom, Guildford

I've been a few times and seen a comedy night, a heavy Rock band on another occasion and acoustic acts on what i think is called an Unplugged night. For me this place has everything i like, never noticed anything wrong with the sound and i work in music, in fact i was eyeing up their snazzy system the other night.
Bar staff were friendly and drinks prices were a comparable fair to the other pubs in town.Noticed they do quite a few rums. I picked up a listings that were handy, told me about what was on that month, quite a few free nights as well. Gonna pop in on a Friday as there is a free band on. I asked about the sound issues as i saw them mentioned in a comment here, the woman told me all the issues had been resolved. Got my Guilfest ticket for this weekend, but this venue in my eyes is a welcomed relief to the chain pubs in the town. Nice people, nice venue.
