The Adelaide, Teddington

Located close to where we live and quite a pleasant place. However, all of that totally negated by the incompetent staff and hostile attitude of the management. Went there today for Sunday lunch. All started well but the food took an age to arrive. When the people on the next table (who ordered 15 mins after us) were served (but with the wrong food) we knew something was wrong. We asked the bar staff to check. They said they would but never came back with any info. We asked again (now 45 mins after ordering) and were told we really ought to be more patient didn't we realise that they were short staffed in the kitchen (no - they had never warned us there might be a delay). That was enough. We asked for our money back. At this, the manager (?) came out from the kitchen to tell us how unreasonable we were being and to dispute how long we had been waiting (which by now has been almost 1 hour). In my book that is enough to warrant a zero rating!!
