The Swan, Hammersmith

Visited the Swan on numerous occasions now and just dont get what Nicholson's are trying to achieve here.

The decor now beautiful and a mass improvment on the old Edwards look posts a suggestion that this pub is far better than it is. Dont be fooled by what you see as the service, atmosphere,beer and food dont reiterate the same standards.

Made the mistake of venturing in here for the first of England's world cup games. Although busy there was a lacking atmosphere and the staff just didnt seem interested...... Plenty on offer but not offered well!!
Pride was ok but far better on offer els where!!!

I couldn't disagree more with the previous coments on the sally. The pub has clearly gone in all the right directions since its refurbishment last year.

The staff are now friendly, warm & atentive and seem to really enjoy what there doing, unlike some near by pub's where the staff seem robot like and struggle to strike a smile!!!

I was there for the England game last night with some friends. The atmosphere was fantastic and so much on offer to, bbq, sweepstakes, and 4 pints of very well looked after London pride for �12 during the match!! The service was as always great, and quick during such a busy time.

My friends and i wouldnt consider going anywhere els on Wednesday.
