White Hart, Loughborough

Reopened in summer 2013., after a refurbishment which for a one roomed pub is not bad. Gaining in popularity. No hot food at present but I believe it is planned. Good selection of usually 6 Real Ales which usually includes several Belvoir Beers including Shipstones Bitter, which is very like the old Shippos.
Live music usually Friday evenings. Nice garden for when the weather is OK.
Well worth a visit.

The Mug House Inn, Bewdley

Brilliant pub and restaurant stayed for 2 nights last weekend and we had an excellent time. Staff were very friendly, also very competent something you do not see in many pubs.
The comments made by chrispurs were very negative and seemingly made by a person who has no experience of the pub trade. Yes pubs are closing and many would close even quicker if people were allowed to bring food onto their premises. Only the very large beer gardens I have visited in Germany and I have visited many, allow customers to bring their own food. I do not know any pub in this country that has a garden that can seat 200 let alone 1000 plus you come across in Germany. The garden area of the Mug House was well set out and used by a lot of customers, even in early October.
The beer at the Mug House was kept very well and it was the first time I had tried Bewdley Brewery Beers and was suitably impressed.
The food whilst not cheap was of a very high standard especially the breakfasts, I can reccomend the Full English also the Scabbled Eggs and Smoked Salmon.
All in all an excellent pub in a town which also has some other good ones but the Mug House is the one to visit.
