The White Hart, Ludford

We visited the pub on a cold lunchtime when the sight of two roaring coal fires was more than welcome. The beer selection was excellent and the landlord encouraged me to have tasters of any beer before I ordered. From the moment we eneterd we felt welcome and conversation with the landlord revealed him to be a rare character of integrity and standards. He maintains his belief that real ale, decent lager and cider have more thanenough quality to resist the usual fizz. We also ate lunch which was freshly prepared, tasty and good value. He intends re-opening B and B next Spring after he and his wife have renovated the rooms. This is a pub which any beer lover would love to have near to them and I only hope that his regulars continue to support him in even greater numbers.
