The Anglers, Teddington

Nice pub shame about the staff and food. We went there on Easter Monday and got there about 2pm hoping to have missed the lunchtime rush and have a quick bite to eat and then continue cycling upto Hampton Court.

There was an outside bbq run by two very nice lads who knew nothing about running a grill. An hour and half later and twice asking where our food was we finally got our food and it was cold! Knowing they were busy we ordered a side of chips to tide us over utnil our main arrived, these also took an hour and half. We were not the only ones who were served their food late and cold several tables around us were complaining of the same thing.

Complaining to the managment was not helpful he was not at all appologetic and somwhat aggressively said 'what do you expect its busy'. A sunny easter long weekend of course its busy, thats why you put more staff on (or when I walked in restaurants thats what we did ... planned ahead).

It was faulty towers and was not at all professional and for such a lovely spot was hugely disapointing. Go there for a beer but don't order food.
