The Ferry Boat Inn, Felixstowe

Tried to book a table for a birthday meal, when I asked about children I was told no children were allowed in the pub on a Fri & Sat evening (which is fair enough) but I pointed out that I was booking for a Thursday evening. Was then asked how old the children were (5 & 8, both very well travelled and have visited many restaurants etc) So of course I was then told children under 5 were not allowed in..... But after a bit of huffing & puffing was told we could come if the children behaved themselves, now I know they would have but I would not have felt comfortable should they raise a decibel too high or put a toe out of place so booked elsewhere.

Another family member booked a table for weekend lunchtime and had to wait as they were busy, they were told they could not wait inside the bar with children so had to wait outside....
