The Pitcher And Piano, Ocean Village

I like the atmosphere, good lighting, friendly staff. Good selection of bar food and a separate restaurant area. All low level seating which can feel a bit strange, and the drinks aren't the cheapest in Southampton... but lovely outdoor seating for the summer months.

The Half Moon and Spread Eagle, Micheldever

Lovely food, a real pub atmosphere. Very much a locals place, but we weren't locals and were still made to feel very welcome by the staff. Would recommend as a great Sunday lunch and lazy day venue.
