Gordon Bennnett bar + kitchen, Surbiton

Begrudgingly I would have to say that this bar does serve great food and good wine. I have eaten here many times and always had a consistently good experience of the food. I say this begrudgingly because I and many other friends of mine living in the surbiton area have found one of the staff, who I believe is probably the owner, to have a serious attitude problem. Despite the rest of the staff being very friendly and helpful he clearly thinks he is a little bit special and has at times treated us in a patronising and condescending manner, quite unprofessional. Its a shame as it has put us off returning to this venue, not that its struggles for business. It is always popular and busy, even if he is lacking in customer services skills.
