The Carters Rest, Wroughton

The perfect pub, great beers, reasonable prices and warm welcome. Only downside is the darts team can get a little noisy at times. If you only go to one pub - make it this one!

The Check Inn, North Wroughton

Visited last night, first time for a couple of years. Guy behind the bar was grumpy and really couldn't be bothered to serve us - and served one of his mates in front of us. He then spent the evening fiddling with his laptop, and really resented being disturbed by customers. Choice of beers very limited, although there were in good condition. Prices are outrageous though!
Go to the Carters, great beers, reasonable prices and a warm welcome!
