The Cowley Brick, Uxbridge
This pub, like so many in the Uxbridge area has been closed and redeveloped. In this case into flats.
The local council flouts the Community Pub legislation by saying there are other pubs nearby, however when all those have been converted to flats, KFCs, Indian restaurants, other food outlets, there will be no other pubs nearby. Closure and conversion has happened to at least 20 pubs within a mile or so of Uxbridge town centre.
