The Angel Inn, Longham

Another acceptable H & W pub I feel. It's the sort of place you would not feel ashamed to take your foreign guests to. I mean who wants dirty & torn & stained chairs to sit on to start with? Thank goodness modern pubs are cleaning themselves up.

The Curlew, Bournemouth

I have never had a bad meal here & none of my guests have ever made an adverse comment, except that when busy, the staff do take their time but they have a lot to do. Most are attentive & pleasant. The toilets have always been clean. I wonder if those detractors ever brought their criticisms to the management's attention? I hope they did rather than just resort to back-stabbing on this public site. I also dine at Harbour Hieghts which is much more expensive.......!

Churchill Arms, Alderholt

This pub has recently been nicely refurbished & they have done a good job, too. The food is very good & I'll visit often in the future. Oh yes- the staff are great too.
