The Worlds End, Finsbury Park

It's my new local and has served me well enough, the live music in the back room of a Thursday night throws up the occasional gem and the beer and food are more than palatable. The only real downer is that the toilets have a somewhat cheeky aroma of months old urine. Well you can't have everything can you.

The Woodbine, Highbury

Probably the best looking pub in Highbury by a mile, however this isn't really saying much. Decent jukebox and reasonable rates for beer are the selling points; am yet to try the obligatory Thai menu. Downside is the staff range from aloof to the downright surly, you can bearly lift pint to mouth in the tiniest of beer gardens and wasn't allowed to pay by card on a match day even though there was nobody else in the pub.

The Canonbury, Canonbury Place

I'll second Garvers' comments; a completely soulless establishment to boot refurbed to 1998 specifications. Also had a game getting served, as a very important "staff meeting" was taking place apparently.
