Overpriced Drinks! You are only a Youngs pub, but can take the p*** as you are the only pub in the area and can charge what you like for drinks.

Ye Olde Windsor Castle, Bookham

We tried this pub for the first time recently. We will never be going back because of the following

1. I ordered the mixed grill (ok i was hungry!). I asked for my steak medium rare. It was pretty much rare when I got it. The chicken if you could call it that, was a shrivelled lump. The rest was ok but not wonderful. Not impressed.
2. My fianc�e's burger was grim. No that it being kind - it was disgusting. It was supposed to be Aberdeen Angus. It was so chewy and tasted horrible. God knows where they got it from.
3. Food is over priced for what it is. It is not a gourmet restaurant!

We complained to the waitress who said that she would have to talk to the manager. She did not seem at all interested in what we had to say.

Do not visit this pub!
