We were at the St Georges Day celebration what a night. Great bbq fantastic atmosphere morris dancers etc. Staff dressed up brilient!!! Shame more places cant be bothered to celebrate. Well done !!

It was nice to be in this pub when the CAMRA people were in and to listen to their comments on how nice the beer was the service from the staff and the atmosphere. As a person who visits from time to time it was great to here positive comments well done!.

I WOULD LIKE TO SAY THIS LOVELY PUB HAS HAD A FEW PROBLEMS WITH SUPPLIES OF BEER ETC HASN'T EVERYONE AT SOME TIME OR ANOTHER. I THINK IT WOULD BE A SHAME IF THIS PUB DOESN'T GET THE SUPPORT OF PUNTERS. I WOULD ALSO SAY THAT I DRINK REASONABLY REGULER IN THE JOLLY FARMERS AND AS FOR STALE ALE I WOULD SAY CHECK YOUR TASTE BUDS. THE ALES NEVER LAST LONGER THAN A COUPLE OF DAYS AS THEY ARE DRUNK AS SOON AS THEY ARE READY. PLEASE LOOK IN THE GOOD PUB GUIDE AS THEY ARE IN IT AND THE REAL ALE 2008 GUIDE. THIS PUB IS DONING EVEING FOOD STARTING JAN 2008 I THINK I ONLY WAY IS UP!!!!
