The William Web Ellis, Twickenham

This place has now had a refit, and changed name to 'The William Web Ellis". Has also lost the Lloyds No.1 tag and become a standard Wetherspoons.
Much nicer inside - open fire, bookcases and discreet rugby memorabilia. Only visited during the day, but the service seemed just as bad as before - not sure if the new look will get rid of the Chav element....

The Magpie, Sunbury on Thames

Shocking service, especially at lunchtimes. Not unheard of to wait over 10 minutes to get served, and this week waited over an hour for food. Some staff really friendly and helpful, others extremely rude and dismissive. Avoid if possible.

The Bear, Twickenham

Great pub - good selection of international beers, and good relaxed atmosphere.
