I moved to the area about 3 months ago and have been to Marneys many times now. It always has a very warm and welcoming atmosphere where even children and dogs are welcomed (and not in a bothersome way!) In the summer, there is a beautiful view outside of the pond and church, but now that it's getting cooler and people are sitting indoors, it has a very cozy feeling. The building has a very rustic look, and is always kept clean. The staff is pleasant as well, always greeting customers and making sure everyone is kept happy. Marneys is a lovely pub and it is easy to see why they have such a good reputation.
