The Carpenters Arms, Chilthorne Domer

A very hospitable pub with a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. In the past few years it has decreased the menu and decided to stick to good pub food. In my opinion this is a Pub trying to stay a Pub in the ever increasing new age Restaurant/Pub environment. With a decreased menu the Landlord has managed to produce good quality, Pub food at reasonable prices. They have had flooding lately and have found the original skittle alley to be in very good condition beneath the carpet. Let's hope they make use of that!
