The Fox and Hounds, Walton On The Hill

I ate here a week ago, the food was made to order, fresh and the taste excellent. The menu varied and covered all aspects of i think anyones individual palets. From Confit of Duck to start through a variety of meat mains and a truly mouth watering pudding selection made my meal choice most difficult. the Wine list again covered all budgets and tastes and i was glad to see London pride on tap along side a good selection of more light and modern lagers. I agree totally htis is not a country pub anymore and i dont think its meant to be, Morgan the chef seems to know food and i think this will help establish the business and i hope make it grow.All i can say to finish is try before you judge and i think you will be very suprised, it is very modern and has changed from the country smoke filled style and has movedd away from deep fried food towards freshly prepared,cooked to order top quality food. GOOD LUCK AND I WILL BACK.
