The Royal Oak, Hillcommon
Ate Lunch at the Royal Oak Thursday (8th).
The food was fair and the service good.
Sadly the experience was thoroughly spoiled by the noise from the bar.
Several customers and the person behind the bar seemed to be competing to see who could talk the loudest!!
Grossly irritating.
Having eaten at the Royal Oak for many years, especially when living in Hillcommon, we have been used to more relaxed eating.
