The Minnow, Weybridge

After reading all these comments, I was left thinking, wow, is this really how the public see us? I am working at the Minnow, and proud to say it too! Beyond tiny mistakes (that any pub may have), the Minnow has not just been a great place to work, but also my home.. as a foreigner, I enjoy England and its people, but as my home, I am ashamed. I cant imagine people actually have the time sitting in front of a computer, writing stuff on the net about the pub?! Back home, if we dont like a place, we dont go there anymore, as easy as that. If we like the place, we tell them, and we go again. Working in hospitality isnt always easy. You have to be patient with the impatient, gentle with the hard and calm with the anxious! We are also hot in the summer, we are getting hungry too, and we are people just like you, that can get upset, irritated sometimes and tired! We try our best to deliver quick and be good, but we have only two hands and two legs... it can only carry us 'that far'. So please, next time you come into the pub, change the view and see it from our side too. Thank you.
