I am Andy the Landlord of The Old Goat and it has been great to see the feedback we have received over the past year again, thanks to everyone for taking the time and effort. I am very sorry for those people who have not enjoyed us and we will take all criticisms on board and improve where we can.

It is interesting to see the many comments we are getting and I would like to thank everyone for their comments, even the less complimentary have helped us identify where we need to improve.
However I have to say those people that seem to be negative without being constructive are of no help at all and from what I can see from their other comments on other pubs in the area it seems they do not have a nice word to say about anyone.
We are constantly trying to improve the pub and our offerings. We have recently launched a Sunday carvery using only the best cuts of meat (i.e Rib Eye of Beef)and freshest vegetables. This Sunday we had to turn away about 20 people as we simply did not have the tables. We have a Quiz night on Monday in the bar area and Mussels & a free Belgian Beer night on Wednesdays, and we also added Stone Based Pizzas to our menu recently. We are trying to mix the modern with the traditional, hence our Motto 'A Modern Pub with Traditional Values'. We believe in good service with a smile, a warm atmosphere, good selection of beers and food. Hopefully we look forward to welcoming you soon.
