The Parrot Inn, Forest Green

Can only assume that none of this pub�s many happy and satisfied customers have visited BITE recently. We got married here last month (no unhappy tears and they couldn�t have worked harder to make our day perfect) and have visited on numerous occasions; have always come away happy and well fed. Food is great; beer always spot on (and good variety); decent wine list too. Have always found staff friendly and helpful- yes it gets very busy sometimes but in our experience they cope with it well. The full car park speaks for itself- and it�s a country pub not an A-road carvery so be realistic about parking. With kids- there�s tonnes of room to play on the green and the restaurant is kid-suitable and away from the bar if it�s raining. As with the car park, it would be daft to expect a 'kiddies corner' in a place like this. Only criticism I could possibly come up with is that it can be a bit sloaney- but they can�t choose the customers attracted by a very decent pub.
