The Bishop, East Dulwich

Reading some past mixed reviews on service in the Bishop and just had to pipe-in with another in its defence. This is a pub where I never wait long at the bar, until the friendly face of Joe shows up to serve me or where Neil, the fab manager, who knows his stuff when it comes to food and wine, and even during a packed night, runs his floor with good service, yet still takes the time to say �hello and welcome back� and remembers my drink even.
There are a lot of pubs around, but not a lot which offers such great service so consistently by its main staff. Hope you pay them well, Scott! Neil, Bertie and Joe especially deserve it! Great service makes this pub. It remains my chosen local for that alone (though the chips/fresh aioli and chorizo bread def help!).
