The Anchor Inn, Cowes

My partner and i had a great time in the Anchor, sadly at about 2300hrs it got too busy, we decided to sit out-side on the front, It was quiet, until, a doorman approached and told me and told me i had to have a "plastic glass for my alcohol", i asked him if he "could get me a glass" to which his response was, "Im not your Servant" I questioned his Attitude,i handed my Drink to my partner and nipped into the Anchor pub {Cowes} to obtain a plastic Glass.Whilst i was inside the Pub the Dooman had Snatched my drink out of my Partners hand and threw it away, after about Ten Minutes he reappeared with two other colleagues, i challenged his behaviour, this was greeted with move on, get off the Anchor Property, i replied "no, now call the Police", i also asked for his ID Number,{to which he said"NO"} as i am wanting to file a complaint, i am being called an idiot, i believe their tactics was to push me into an uncontrollable and foul mouthed state, the Police arrived, they done what they could do, i did have my moment, by expressing my views of this being so unfair, that a dooman can tell you to go and get a plastic glass and whilst you are doing that, he takes your drink and throws it away.Sadly the Anchor is a pub i will never set foot into again. The Bar Staff are nice and friendly, The Atmosphere is Ok"ish" The Doorman-nasty person, The other two Doormen, well they had to back his colleague up, right or wrong!!
