Gold Medal, Low Fell

The staff at this pub are great and friendly but we went for Sunday Lunch today..and the food was terrible...you needed a chainsaw to get through the skin of the roast potatoes...and when you did there was no potato inside.....the mash which we had to pay extra for was cold when delivered..and the beef was tough and chewy.....the pub itself is lovely even have heaters outside for smokers underneath a shelter.....but there were 5 of us and not one managed to saw our way through the roasties...my granddaughter opted for chicken nuggets with peas and chips and the chips were the same as the roasties......rock hard outer with no potato on the inside........such a shame for a lovely pub to serve such bad meals....
