The Rambler Country House, Edale

We went to this pub after a long hike, having had a wonderful meal there last year.
We arrived at 2 minutes to seven to be told we couldn't order food as the kitchen closed at 7pm (there were 7 of us altogether and we were VERY hungry- they lost a lot of money!).
We decided to at least have a drink and began to order some alcoholic and soft drinks, and asked for a pint of tap water - they refused to serve the tap water, saying it was their policy.
I'm not convinced this is legal - I thought if you have a licence to serve alcohol, you had to provide tapwater on request.
This pub sucks and I would not recommend it, especially to thirsty walkers, who they claim to be so friendly towards.
